Specialised programmes

The Postgraduate Diploma in Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology and the taught Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology provide courses and practical training in the application of exercise to people with a range of health conditions. These specialisations from 2013 combine and replace the previously offered specialisations in Exercise Rehabilitation and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

The training is focused on prescribing exercise rehabilitation to individuals with cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological conditions, arthritis and chronic back pain, and post-surgery.

Masters students may take the American College of Sports Medicine Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologists® certification examination.
